Operation Pathways: Book of Stories

In the Community

National Night Out Against Crime One of Operation Pathways’ partners is the nation’s premiere crime prevention network, National Association of Town Watch (NATW). This is a not-for- profit organization dedicated to the development and promotion of various crime prevention programs, including neighborhood watch groups, law enforcement agencies, state and regional crime prevention associations, businesses and civic groups, and individuals devoted to safer communities. Pathways, along with NATW, works with law enforcement officials and civilian leaders to keep crime watch volunteers informed, interested, involved, and motivated. Through National Night Out Against Crime, Operation Pathways helps to promote involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, and neighborhood camaraderie, and sends a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. In 2017, nine properties hosted National Night Out events with a total of 862 participants.
