NHPF BUILDS Missouri

The NHP Foundation (NHPF) is a leading provider of affordable housing in 16 states and the District of Columbia. Our roots doing business in the Show-Me State date to the 2010 acquisition of St. Luke’s Plaza, located in the Central West End neighborhood of St. Louis, comprised of 216 units. This was followed by the 2021 acquisition of Cardinal Ridge Apartments, a 160-unit property approximately 14 miles from downtown Kansas City, Missouri. NHPF looks for opportunities to expand the provision of a variety of much-needed affordable housing in a variety of neighborhoods. The organization is also known for its expertise in managing complex transactions and nurturing important relationships at the municipal, county, and state levels in those regions where we do business. NHPF Builds Missouri. Our organization currently owns and operates two properties in Missouri, representing 376 units of affordable housing set aside for families and seniors in Kansas City and St. Louis. These properties provide significant investment in the housing stock of their local communities and represent a variety of housing types and architectural styles, from townhouse-style living to traditional apartment.
