After a year of upheaval including life in a pandemic, social unrest, and an imperiled election, Dick Burns, NHPF CEO & President, gathered with colleagues to look ahead to those issues that will impact the affordable housing eco-system in the coming months. These insights were published in The Hill : The past year's adversity means opportunity for affordable housing in 2021.
This was a year like no other for every business, and the acquisition and preservation of affordable housing was no exception. Between keeping old deals alive, initiating new ones, and finding ways to help residents pay the rent, we at NHPF have leveraged the lessons learned during this tumultuous year to make some predictions for the industry in 2021.
Mr. Charles Gives Back to His Community at Forest Park
NHPF Promotes Eric W. Price to Executive Vice President & CFO NHPF announced the promotion of Senior Vice President Eric W. Price to Executive Vice President and CFO. Price joined NHPF in early 2019 with 30 years experience in the development and financing of affordable housing and community development.
All through the year of COVID-19, Mr. Charles has found ways to give back to his community. During the 2020 election, Mr. Charles used his own car to take neighbors who did not have transportation to the polls. In total, he chauffeured 18 community members.
